It’s quite some time ago that I spend three months in Cape Town. It was a fabulous time and I love to look back to it.
From October until December 2013 I assisted Catherine Mac, a very talented photographer from Cape Town, and I immediately fell in love with South Africa. That’s why I came back for another five weeks in March 2014.
During my time assisting Catherine I got to know Cape Town very well. I have seen all the wonderful spots this city can offer and I also fell in love with the Winelands just outside Cape Town. I also spend some time in Paternoster with Kim du Toit and in the Gondwana Game Reserve close to Mossel Bay, where beautiful weddings took place.
When I visited Cape Town again, we did a little roadtrip trip and drove along the Garden Route. We stopped in Mossel Bay, Jeffreys Bay and spend a night in the Scotia Game Reserve where we had an amazing Safari. On the next day we visited the Addo Elephant Park which was a wonderful experience as well. Back in Cape Town I was happy enough to stay with a wonderful friend and her husband.
Here are a few impressions of our trip and my time in South Africa, hope you enjoy it!
Lots of Love, Julia
